Specsavers announced as headline sponsor

HIGH street retailer Specsavers will replace Galaxy as the new headline sponsor of the National Book Awards.

Dubbed the ‘Oscars of the publishing industry’ the National Book Awards showcase the best of British writing and publishing, celebrating books with wide popular appeal, critical acclaim and commercial success.

The two-year sponsorship extends Specsavers’ long-term affliation with reading, which has seen them partner with Cactus TV on the Specsavers Crime Thriller Awards and TV Book Club.

With more than 750 stores, Specsavers will provide a high street promotional platform for the best books of 2012 with official National Book Awards point of sale in-store.
